I am originally from Iowa.  About 10 years ago, I got married and moved to Jackpot, NV.  When I first arrived to Jackpot, I was a secretary at Jackpot Combined School and had that position for about 5 1/2 years.  During that time, I went back to school and received my elementary education degree through Sierra Nevada College.  My students enjoy the technology that I bring into my classroom, so I have started on my master's degree in "Integrating Technology in the Classroom."

My husband and I have three kids, not of the human-type, but of the feline-type.  Our cats' names are Boyd, Annie, and Boinger.  I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing the piano, and being with my family and friends.  Most of all, I love teaching!
